Every so often, I will scan blogs and other web site for stories I hope you’ll find entertaining, informative and newsworthy.   Mainly because I have nothing good to write about it.  This is one of those times.  Here are some links from this week that are are definitely worth checking out. 

There are a couple post-worthy items over at deadspin.com, my favorite sports blog.

• First a hilarious write up by Drew Magary about grocery bags, of all things.  He writes some of the funniest stuff out there and this piece is no different. 
• Secondly, great news for anyone who is a fan of firejoemorgan.com, the now defunct web site will have a reunion of sorts for one day on deadspin’s site. 
• Over at kissingsuzykolber you can find a story about the new movie “Blindside” based on the Michael Lewis book with the same name.   This trailer looks awful and will probably ruin what was a fascinating book.  For those of you don’t know Michael Lewis, he’s one of the best writers around right now and I highly recommend reading both the The Blindside and Money Ball—two of my favorite books ever. 
• I found this old post over at the onion.  It’s a few years old but I think it perfectly sums up my relationship with my girl and probably yours too. 
• Here’s a funny post from theartofmanliness.com– The worst inventions man has ever made.  It’s hard to believe anyone thought these would work.
• And finally, for fans of HBO’s Entourage, Mark La Monica of Newsday.com does a great job of breaking down every episode and features the best printable line of each week.  It’s a good read for fans that can’t get enough of the show.
