With more than 500 million users and growing, Facebook continues to grow at an astounding rate. This has resulted in just about everyone I know being on the world’s most popular social networking site. Whether it’s a high school classmate I never liked, a girl I went on one date with eight years ago, or someone I met briefly once in my life, they are probably already my “friend” on Facebook.
These people that I know little about are clogging up the news feed on my wall with updates I do not care about it. It’s time to do a little housecleaning. Yes you read that title right. There’s an old saying that says “necessity is the mother of invention.” Well…I think it should be the other way around. Invention is really the mother of necessity. You don’t realize how much you need something until you have it. I realized recently that if certain gadgets were removed from my life, I’d have a very difficult time adjusting even though there was point in my life when they weren’t around. Therefore, I have compiled a list of items that were once considered luxuries that have now become necessities.
With the advances in technology over the years, the mediums for flirting have changed. No longer do you have to meet in person or make a phone call to flirt. Thanks to instant messaging, text messaging and social networking sites, it’s easier than ever to charm a girl.
