There are many Oktoberfest celebrations that go on right here in the U.S. as well. Lots of festivals and German Restaurants have celebrations with German music groups and dancing. Lots of great food and beers at these events. I plan on attending a few this year myself. Nothing is as big as what goes on in Germany but these are great festivals. I know I may be in the minority on that but its one of my favorite beers. This is not to say that I dont enjoy the summer ale because I certainly do. I am however sad to see that summer is gone but this change from summer to fall does bring some great things with it. Such as College and NFL football. Oh and lets not forget October baseball. Which even though my team is finished should be pretty exciting to watch. Then of course theres Halloween, Thanksgiving which means Turkey sandwiches and pumpkin pies so its not all bad.
